Discover our delicious collection of chutneys and Hot Honey – each one made in small batches using traditional copper pans, prized for their even heat and gentle cooking. These vintage pans, dating back to 1938, help us preserve the natural colour, texture and flavour of every ingredient, from sweet Bramley apples to fiery Scotch Bonnet chillies.
Our chutney for cheese is crafted from carefully sourced, natural ingredients using Snowdonia Cheese Co’s own bespoke recipes. Choose from Balsamic Caramelised Onion; Spiced Tomato & Vodka; Rhubarb & Gin; Pear, Date & Cognac; and Fig & Apple – a spectrum of spicy, fruity and sweet flavours. Each one makes a wonderful chutney for a cheeseboard, whether you decant them into a bowl or just spoon them straight from the jar.
Beyond the cheese platter, the versatility of our chutneys makes them a real pantry essential – they pair exceptionally well with charcuterie, cold roasted meats, pâtés, pies, grilled sausages, savoury tarts and more. They can even be used as your secret ingredient in glazes, jus and gravies: just take a look at our recipe section for inspiration.
Then there’s the latest addition to the condiment family: Hot Honey. This feisty little jar of single-origin blossom honey infused with South American chilli is hand-stirred in those treasured copper pans for a beautiful balance of heat and sweetness. An excellent match for Rock Star vintage cave-aged Cheddar and a Wholemeal & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cracker, it can also be poured into a ramekin to crown your next cheeseboard – or drizzled over our melted Rock Star Cheese & Wine Bake, to be scooped up with a chunk of rustic bread.
So, if you’re on the hunt for Hot Honey and chutney to go with cheese, or if you’re looking to add the finishing touch to a special dish at your next party or picnic, open up a little jar that’s packed with big flavours.
